World Premiere of my work, A Brandenburg BWV 565.
The trailblazing British ensemble Chamber Domaine, led by Thomas Kemp, perform the first set of Bach’s well-loved Brandenburg Concertos, masterful examples of the Baroque ‘concerto grosso’. The concert also features contemporary responses by Brian Elias, Michael Price, Deborah Pritchard, Luke Styles and a DMA commission by Aaron Holloway-Nahum. The concert is preceded by a talk setting the scene for the day’s music by writer, critic and journalist Sir Nicholas Kenyon, one of the country’s leading Bach specialists.
